10th Festival of Russian Art in the Castellana Caves
For the third year, the Castellana Caves hosted, on May 18th, the Russian Art Festival in Bari thanks to the partnership strongly desired by the president Domi Ciliberti and the entire Board of Directors, between the Grotte company and the Cesvir (Italian-Russian Center for Economics and Development), led by Dr. Rocky Malatesta.
A magical and emotional evening began with the Mameli Anthem, a tribute to Italy, superbly performed by the talented young musicians of the Wind Orchestra of the Academic Institute of Music of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. The first of the underground caverns of Castellana vibrated with the hearts of the large audience, who rose to their feet from the first note and finally gave their thanks with prolonged and thunderous applause. The concert continued with several pieces, many of which are known for their roles in famous film soundtracks.
A thrilling tenth edition thanks to everyone's commitment and, above all, to the many great artists who came from far and wide to the wonderful Castellana Caves with the desire to create truly unforgettable moments.
