Weekend at the Castellana Caves with Hell in the Cave and Speleonight

hellinthecave_june_2019

Saturday June 15th, second performance of the month for Hell in the Cave – verses dancing in the dark air, the largest underground air show in the world, a multimedia representation of Dante Alighieri's Inferno, the only permanent show in Puglia.

In fact, it continues within the framework of the regional project Crossing Arts, at the Grotte di Castellana srl (Ba), the June and July programming of the show inspired by Dante's circles of the Divine Comedy.

Hell in the Cave is hell seen from the center of the earth, 70 meters underground, among karst concretions shaped by nature over 90 million years. An evocative setting serves as both the backdrop and the protagonist of the show, featuring damned souls and demons, but also celestial, pure-blooded figures led by the enchanting Beatrice. The cast of dancers and actors makes the Hell in the Cave experience unique, with its record-breaking numbers consistently breaking.

Here are the performances scheduled for the next two months. Two more performances are scheduled for June: Saturday the 15th and Saturday the 29th. Three performances in July: Saturday the 6th, Sunday the 14th, and Friday the 26th.

The reruns are always scheduled to start at 21 pm.

Tickets are on sale online at ticketone.it. For information and reservations, call +39 339 1176722. Tickets cost €20. A combination of the Castellana Caves ticket (full tour including the White Grotto) and the Hell in the Cave ticket is also available: the total cost will be €28 instead of €36.
