The rerun schedule has been announced Hell in the Cave for the month of November 2021. Three events are scheduled for the underground aerial show, a free performance of the first canticle of the Divine Comedy at 70 meters deep, set in the Caverna della Grave delle Castellana Caves (Ba): Monday 1st, Saturday 13th and Sunday 21st.
The performance on Monday, November 1st (box office 20:15 PM, curtain at 21:00 PM) joins the two events already scheduled for the All Saints' Day long weekend (Saturday, October 30th and Sunday, October 31st). On Saturday, November 13th, the gates of Hell in the Castellana Karst complex will open once again at 20:00 PM (box office 21:15 PM) to welcome spectators into a sensory experience. Finally, on November 21st, at 18:30 PM (box office 17:45 PM), it will be possible to experience a hellish Sunday and admire the first cave on the Castellana Karst site's tourist route in a different light.
A performance that combines dance, voices, sounds and lights, and capable of embracing the entire natural environment of the largest cave of the Castellana Caves as a stage space, Hell in the Cave is one that is born from a suggestion and a great love for the language and the work of Dante, with the direction of Enrico Romita and the dramaturgy of Giusy FrallonardoOn stage, for each performance, actors, performers, and dancers offer the audience a thrilling performance, while the evocative power of Dante's verses blends with a unique natural setting. The chosen cantos are among the most famous, featuring characters such as Lucifer, Minos, Pier delle Vigne, Ciacco, Paolo and Francesca, Count Ugolino, Brunetto Latini, Ulysses, and Beatrice.
