Nicola Ivone, a new member of the Council, is the new vice president. The appointments were ratified the day before the 86th anniversary of the discovery of the Caves.
Freelance professional, born in Castellana in 1965, already present on the board of Grotte di Castellana srl as vice president, Serafino Ostuni is the new president of the company that manages the karst siteSerafino Ostuni, who has extensive knowledge of the administration of the Grotte, having served on its board of directors from 2013 to 2016, was appointed by the mayor of Castellana Grotte, Domi Ciliberti, with Decree No. 1 of January 17, 2024.

The functions of vice-president were instead attributed to Nicola Ivone, also from Castellana Grotte, president of the Filodrammatica Ciccio Clori association and of the Fratres “Cuore aperto” ODV of Castellana Grotte.
