Designed for children ages 4 and up, the Speleofamily tour offers an alternative route to the traditional tourist route. Led by professional speleologists, you'll explore using only the light of your helmet for an exciting adventure among the caves and concretions of the Castellana karst site.
The tour is available for a limited number of participants and will be confirmed upon reaching the minimum number of participants. The special visit costs €12 for adults and €6 for children aged 4 to 14. It covers approximately 1 km on foot and lasts at least one hour. Reservations are required by calling +39 080 4998221 (9:00 am to 2:00 pm) or by emailing segreteria@grottedicastellana.it. To access the tour, you must have a Green Pass (either digital or paper) for those aged 12 and over, and submit a completed self-certification form, available online on the official website or at the ticket office and info point near the caves.
Available on the website www.grottedicastellana.it, instead, the schedule of daily visits to the caves (complete itinerary up to the White Grotto, 3 kilometers long and lasting approximately 100 minutes, partial itinerary, 1 kilometer long and lasting approximately 50 minutes), tickets for which can be purchased on the TicketOne circuit.
