With the San Leo Music Fest, three days of contemporary music in the beautiful setting of Castellana Grotte's historic center.
The August 22 – 23 – 24, 2014 The "San Leo Music Fest." A three-day musical event showcasing some of the local and national talents working in the world of contemporary music.
With the artistic direction of the association Music Workshop The Festival features three groups selected from the Italian scene and capable of combining tradition with modernity, proposing contaminations between different cultures, styles and languages, pushing the boundaries of the audience's experience beyond the music: LUZ with Giacomo Ancillotto, Igor Legari and Federico Leo; RAVA NEW QUARTET with Enrico Rava, Francesco Diodati, Gabriele Evangelista and Enrico Morello; APOCALYPSE TRIO with Vincenzo Deluci, Camillo Pace and Giuseppe Mariani.
The Festival will be framed by the Largo San Leone Magno of Castellana Grotte, located in the heart of the historic center where the Mother Church stands, has always been the hub of city life in the cave town since its foundation.
Every evening, from 7pm to 9pm, at the “Mirò Café” in Castellana Grotte there will be Happy Hours featuring jazz, fanky and soul music with the Vinyl DJ Set di DJ Mars.
