Rocco Papaleo returns to the stage to lead audiences in the discovery of his great passion for song-theatre.
Actor, author, director, showman, but also singer and musician, Papaleo has cultivated and skillfully practiced song-theater for 25 years and with this show he takes a journey through words, music, songs, poetic and realistic stories, monologues and surreal gags.
“COAST TO COAST” is a show that presents itself as an album to be leafed through, made up of scattered thoughts, short notes and rhymes left unfinished that become words in music: a successful experiment that gives a nod to Gaber and Basilicata.
An anthological show, with a strong focus on interaction and play; a recital that always has the same starting point, but an ever-changing destination and an ever-changing path to get there.

The title alludes to the impossibility of stopping, to the knowledge of our transience, to the understanding that everything is temporary and therefore to be constantly amazed. Which is more or less the meaning of the journey we make every day, every day, as long as we are allowed to look out the window.
