This year, we'll be offering you the wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in an underground journey into the heart of the Caves, discovering the evocative nativity scenes set up in the Grave, the Caverna della Lupa, and the Caverna dei Monumenti.
Inauguration Sunday 14 December at 10.00 am.
Visits will continue until January 12th – 17.30pm-21.30pm (departure every 30 minutes).
Where events are scheduled, the last descent will be at 7:00 PM.
December 25, 26/January 6 – special opening 9,30/12.30 (departure every 30 minutes)
€5,00 per person / Free admission for Castellana residents and all children under 12.

Tuesday, December 23 – 7:00 pm Nativity in the Grotto (Free admission) – A charming torchlight procession from Largo San Leone Magno to the Castellana Caves and a celebration of Holy Mass in the graveyard, officiated by Archpriest Don Leonardo Mastronardi. The religious event will be enriched by the singing of the Schola Cantorum "Don Vincenzo Vitti" choir.
