Passionchrist 2016. The synopsis
"I appeal to the conscience of government leaders to reach an international consensus for the abolition of the death penalty. And I propose to those among them who are Catholic to make a courageous and exemplary gesture: that no sentence be carried out in this Holy Year of Mercy.". And with these powerful words, the period of preparation for PassionchrisT – The Passion in the Castellana Caves, the reenactment of the Christ's passion realized by Wanted Chorus in a double staging Saturday March 19 2016 (at 20.00 pm and 21.30 pm) in the Grave delle Grotte di Castellana.
PassionchrisT It is a manifesto against death, which, in any form, we voluntarily decide to use to punish "the other," against death, which brings only suffering and erases the distinction between guilty and innocent.
