“Alberto Angela will guide us through Puglia, to discover a true geological treasure: a spectacular complex of underground cavities of karst origin, stretching for a length of 3348 meters and reaching a maximum depth of 120 meters from the surface: these are the Castellana Caves.” Saturday March 9 starting from 15 hours the caves of Castellana (Ba) will be the protagonists of the new episode of Northwest Passage, the television format scheduled on Rai Uno and conducted by Alberto Angela, paleontologist, journalist and writer, who already in 2015 brought the Apulian karst complex, one of the most visited paid tourist sites in Italy, among the most wonderful attractions of Puglia, to prime time on Rai Tre within the program Ulisse – Il piacere della scoperta.
