INTERNATIONAL GUESTS AT THE CASTELLANA CAVES
Luxembourg Mayor Lydie Polfer and American choreographer Andrea Lyn Baker
Castellana Grotte, April 19, 2017 – International guests visited the Castellana Caves this morning. Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer, former Vice President of the Luxembourg Parliament and former Foreign Minister, and American choreographer Andrea Lyn Baker arrived at our karst site. They were welcomed by Deputy Mayor Gianni Bianco on behalf of the Municipality of Castellana Grotte, and Councilor Anna Maria Dalena on behalf of the Caves Society.
The international delegation visited the "Wonder of Puglia" Caves and took the opportunity to inspect the Grave Cave. An artistic project is also underway that could use the Grave Cave as a suggestive setting for a performance featuring international artists.
