Wednesday 6 April at 19:00 pm Castellana Caves will host an event dedicated to music and the artist from Castellana at the “Franco Anelli” Speleological Museum Grace SalvatoriThe meeting entitled “Music in the heart of the earth” It will be an opportunity to talk about the organist and harpsichordist's artistic life and present his new CD.
Professor emeritus of organ at the Bari Conservatory, Grazia Salvatori has dedicated her life to music. Since 987, she has devoted herself to composition, writing primarily for solo organ and chamber music, and has performed numerous concerts in Europe, the USA, Mexico, and Australia. The evening will be an opportunity to discuss her career and listen to some pieces from her latest CD. She will be joined in the story of her artistic journey by Livio Costarella, a journalist for La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, who will converse with the organist in the first part of the evening, retracing her artistic life with her, discovering her works, her concerts around the world, and her collaborations.
After the presentation, the event will continue with music Tina Giovanna Dell'Orco, flute, and Joseph Scarati, bass tuba, who will entertain the audience with the musical performance of We Tango Alone (CI Gayle), Divertimento ad hoc (P. Messa), Nel cuore della terra (G. Salvatori), Verso la luce (T. Dell'Orco) and Anniversary Song – serpentone and cajon (Improvisation).
