PUGLIA'S LIGHT AT THE CASTELLANA CAVES
Eleven journalists from across the country were enthralled by the Castellana karst site during the press tour promoted by the Promotion sector of the Regional Tourism Department.
Castellana Grotte, November 6, 2015 – Further promotion for the Castellana Caves, which last Sunday hosted the “Luce di Puglia” press tour, organized and promoted by the Puglia Region's Department of Tourism and intended for journalists from across the country.
An unusual itinerary for the eleven journalists from national newspapers such as Ansa Mediterranea, Corriere della Sera, Dove, Sky, La Nazione, and Il Giornale, who visited towns and places of interest including the WWF oasis, Ostuni, and Grottaglie.
Among the stops was a complete tour of the magical underground world of Castellana, which captivated the press, who were able to savor the tranquility of autumn while enjoying a wonderful and authentic Puglia.
Accompanying the group were Rocky Malatesta, a collaborator with Pugliapromozione and president of CESVIR, along with Tonia Riccio, Director of the Area for Policies for the Promotion of the Territory, Knowledge and Talent.
