A press conference was held to share the extraordinary achievement of Professor Rizzi, director of the Sirio Astronomical Observatory.
The December 2, 2013 at 6:00 PM, at the Franco Anelli Museum, the press conference to announce the important recognition that the Observatory has received from the Whole Earth Blazar Telescope (WEBT), An international consortium of astronomers created in 1997 to study a particular category of active galactic nuclei (AGN) called blazars. As of February 2009, WEBT has organized 24 observing campaigns, involving over a hundred telescopes worldwide.
The Sirius Astronomical Observatory It has been officially included in this network with the aim of making a contribution to the international scientific community in the field of astronomy.
