
After participating in Bit Milano 2019, a new event in the name of promotion and comparison for the Castellana Caves srl, the company that manages the Apulian karst complex, one of the most important tourist attractions in the region, among the first paid tourist sites in Italy.
From Thursday 28 February to Saturday 2 March, in fact, the institutional representatives and the staff of Grotte di Castellana srl will be present at the Business Tourism Management 2019, taking place in Lecce, in the splendid setting of Charles V Castle. The fifth edition will focus on inclusive and cultural tourism, weddings and food and wine, the unexpected Puglia presented at BIT by the Puglia Region and Puglia Promozione, the processes of deseasonalization, and the dynamics of tourism communication, through the participation of numerous speakers and regional and local institutions. Tour operators, companies, accommodation facilities, and associations will meet, including in a dedicated B2B space, during a three-day event offering training, information, discussion, and the exchange of experiences.
The media and the public have praised BTM for its work in recent years: the latest edition, in 2018, attracted over 9000 attendees over three days, 6000 accredited attendees, 150 exhibitors, 55 international buyers, 250 companies participating in the B2B event, 150 speakers, and 45 partner companies and organizations.
Meanwhile, the promotional activity continues for the period of Carnival. On the occasion of the parades of the nearby Putignano Carnival in the next weekends, but also for the rest of the week, the Castellana caves have Guided tours in Italian to the White Grotto 10 hours and 12 hours every day.
