Castellana Grotte, November 16, 2013 – Russian State Television, and in particular the producers of the program “Utro Rosii” (Russian Morning), a popular television format broadcast daily on the Russia1 channel (the equivalent of RAI2 in Italy), followed by more than 300 viewers and also visible on SKY, have chosen to dedicate an episode to our Caves, sending a crew composed of two technicians, a production manager, a presenter, and an interpreter to film the Castellana Caves.
Sergio Carpinelli, president of ATC Sottosopra and an expert speleologist, led them for three hours to discover the marvelous underground world that Mother Nature has gifted us, culminating in the astonishing White Cave. Director Enrico Romita was also interviewed about "Hell in the Cave," the show inspired by some of the canticles of the Divine Comedy and unique in the world, which has already attracted great interest, even in Russia. All of this was made possible through Puglia Promozione, the Regional Tourism Agency, to which the Board of Directors of Grotte Srl recently registered the company for the purpose of promoting itself along with all the other businesses in our region. A small and simple initiative that is yielding enormous benefits in terms of visibility and promotion worldwide.
