The 5th edition of the International Summer School “Surveying to Design: New Technologies and Land Protection”
will take place in Rome, Formia (LT), Castellana Grotte (BA), Alberobello (BA), Locorotondo (BA) and Noci (BA) from 17 – 26 July 2014
A temporary cancellation has been requested for the 2014 International Summer School, organized by the Italian Committee for Architectural Photogrammetry in collaboration with the Castellana Caves Society.
The presentation press conference will take place on Sunday, July 20th at 10:00 a.m. at the Castellana Grotte Town Hall, while the Franco Anelli Museum will be hosting postal workers canceling postcards featuring images by the famous photographer Guglielmi.
The Italian Committee for Architectural Photogrammetry (COIFA) aims to initiate, through distance learning, a literacy process for the use of new technologies in architectural documentation and design. COIFA is a non-profit technical-scientific-cultural association whose statutory objectives include continuing the research work initiated with the project “Photogrammetry and Land Protection”The fundamental principle that inspires COIFA research is that “Documentation is itself a cultural process that cannot be delegated to third parties”.
