The Salento Finibus Terrae stops at the Castellana Caves
For the XIII Edition of the Festival a special event has been set up: the Salento Finibus Terrae stops at Castellana Caves.
Remaining faithful to a well-established tradition, the festival confirms its traveling nature throughout the Alto Salento region. Thus, on the evening of July 22, 2015, the enchanting setting of the Castellana Caves will host, from 6:00 PM onwards, the films competing in the "Environment" section, which will be screened in two successive sessions. This rare and exceptional event provides an opportunity for cinema and the environment to meet in one of the most fascinating and unique locations in the world.
The renowned festival, which will take place from July 16th to 26th, has brought Italian and international cinema to numerous evocative locations in the Alto Salento area, extending, this year for the first time, to the outskirts of the Itria Valley, choosing Italy's most visited caves as the opening location.
A rare and exceptional event that provides an opportunity for cinema and the environment to meet in one of the most fascinating and unique locations in the world.
The competition section “Environment” will be screened at 6:00 pm.
At 8:30 pm, the film “Ameluk,” directed by Mimmo Mancini, will be screened out of competition.
