THE TEN DAYS OF GROTTELAND
Theater, cabaret, live music, children's area, food stands, observatory, speleofamilies, crafts and much more at the Castellana Caves from 1 to 10 August 2015
Castellana Grotte, July 7, 2015 – Grotte di Castellana Srl announces that “Grotteland, Summer Wonder,” a series of events sponsored by the Municipality of Castellana Grotte, will take place from August 1 to 10.
Numerous events are scheduled, including theatrical performances, bands, cabaret, book presentations, and activities for children, as well as special openings of the underground site with the exclusive "Speleofamiglia" packages, designed specifically for families wishing to experience unforgettable emotions in the magical world of the Castellana Caves. There will also be several events at the Sirio Astronomical Observatory, led by Professor Nicola Rizzi, which, exceptionally, will remain open until 3:00 a.m. on August 10th.
There will also be many side activities to the main stage, located in the area behind the Franco Anelli Museum, such as paintball, beach volleyball and beach tennis courts run by the Culturama association, a cinema for children, mascots Mica and Giga, and many other fun and engaging activities.
The pine forest area is also buzzing with activity thanks to the rock-inspired music program curated by the Incontrada, Agica, and Opificio delle Idee associations.
Finally, food and wine stands and crafts will round out what promises to be one of the most anticipated events of the warm season with taste and warmth.
