New appointment, always in the Grave delle Castellana Caves (Ba), with Hell in the Cave – verses dancing in the dark airPresented as part of the Crossing Arts project, the world's largest underground aerial show, a multimedia representation of Dante Alighieri's Inferno, the only permanent show in Puglia, returns to the stage on Saturday, March 16, starting at 9:00 PM.
Inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy, Hell in the Cave is hell seen from the center of the earth, 70 meters underground, among karst concretions shaped by nature over 90 million years. An evocative setting serves as both the backdrop and the protagonist of the show, featuring damned souls and demons, but also celestial, pure-white figures led by the enchanting Beatrice. The cast of dancers, actors, and acrobats makes the Hell in the Cave experience unique, with its record-breaking performances.
The program and schedule of performances for the first part of 2019 have also been updated: after Saturday, March 16, Hell in the Cave will be performed again in the Castellana Caves on Saturday, April 13, Wednesday, April 24, Tuesday, April 30, Friday, May 10, and Friday, May 31, all starting at 9:00 pm.

The ticket costs 20 euros. A combination of the Castellana Caves ticket (full tour including the White Grotto) and the Hell in the Cave ticket is also available: the total cost will be 28 euros instead of 36 euros.

Now in its sixth year, the award is given to the organizers of the events that best enliven the entire Italian territory and is promoted by italive.it In partnership with Autostrade per l'Italia, the collaboration of Coldiretti, the promotion of Codacons and Comitas, and the patronage of Mibac – Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea.
