It returns to the stage, as part of the regional project Crossing Arts, at Castellana Caves (Ba), Hell in the Cave – verses dancing in the dark air, the largest underground air show in the world, a multimedia representation of Dante Alighieri's Inferno, the only permanent show in Puglia.
Inspired by Dante's circles of the Divine Comedy, Hell in the Cave is hell seen from the center of the earth, 70 meters underground, among karst concretions shaped by nature over 90 million years. An evocative setting serves as both the backdrop and the protagonist of the show, featuring damned souls and demons, but also celestial, pure-white figures led by the enchanting Beatrice. The cast of dancers and actors makes the Hell in the Cave experience unique, with its record-breaking numbers consistently breaking.
Three performances are scheduled for April 2019: we start Saturday April 13 (start at 21 hours), then continuing on Wednesday, April 24th and Tuesday, April 30th. Two repeat performances are also scheduled for May, on Friday the 10th and Friday the 31st.

THE FIRST COASTER RIDES ON THE "ROUTE OF THE TWO SEAS" OPEN IN CASTELLANA GROTTE
Last Saturday afternoon, the coasters of "La Rotta dei Due Mari" (The Route of the Two Seas) made their first stop in Castellana Grotte. This route links Polignano and Taranto in a unique Apulian tourist route from the Adriatic to the Ionian Sea, accessible on foot or by bicycle.
Welcoming their arrival in Largo San Leone Magno was the councilor of Grotte di Castellana srl Maria Lacasella and the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Castellana Vanni Sansonetti: a stamp on the coaster's passport for the very first stop on the itinerary and an invitation to visit the Castellana Caves as well as all the other beauties of the town of Castellana Grotte.

“The aim of this collaboration is to encourage cave tourists to visit Castellana – commented Councillor Lacasella on behalf of the Board of Directors composed of President Victor Casulli and Vice President Francesco Manghisi – but also to ensure that the activities carried out by the Municipality can themselves create significant tourist flows".
