La Castellana Caves srl, within the framework of the regional project Crossing Arts, has defined the calendar for the first part of 2019 Hell in the Cave – verses dancing in the dark air, the largest underground air show in the world, staged for over seven years in the Castellana Caves.
Inspired by Dante's circles of the Divine Comedy, Hell in the Cave is hell seen from the center of the earth, 70 meters underground, among karst concretions shaped by nature over 90 million years. An evocative setting serves as both the backdrop and the protagonist of the show, featuring damned souls and demons, but also celestial, pure-blooded figures led by the enchanting Beatrice. The cast of dancers and actors makes the Hell in the Cave experience unique, consistently racking up record-breaking performances. Hell in the Cave thus confirms its position as Puglia's largest permanent show.

In addition to these performances, there will be eight afternoon performances reserved for school groups as part of Hell in the Cave's School & Training Plan.

The full ticket price is €20 (reduced to €15 for school groups and minors). A combination ticket for the Castellana Caves (full tour including the White Grotto) and the Hell in the Cave ticket is also available: the total cost will be €28 instead of €36.
