CASTELLANA CAVES: AN AUGUST DEDICATED TO THE LITTLE ONES
Castellana Grotte, August 8, 2014 – A new entertainment service is available for young visitors to the Castellana Caves in August. Thanks to a collaboration with the cultural association "La Valigia del Sapere," two large, colorful inflatables will be placed near the tower adjacent to the Franco Anelli Museum. They are open to all children aged 4 to 12 for a small fee.
“The initiative – underlined the president of Grotte di Castellana Srl, Domi Ciliberti – stems from the desire to offer little ones the opportunity to have a carefree time while waiting to enter the caves; a wait that could be longer than usual given the increased influx of tourists that regularly occurs in August. Of course, the inflatables will also be available to all other children.
The "La Valigia del Sapere" Cultural Association has been operating in the Castellana Grotte area for years, primarily providing recreational activities for children aged 3 to 15. Specifically, it manages and organizes entertainment services for various parties throughout the year, recreational courses, and summer camps. During the winter, it provides academic support for elementary and middle school children.
The inflatable activity at the Castellana Caves will be carried out by Association volunteers on August 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, with the following hours: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Contribution: €4.00 per person.
