Castellana Grotte, February 9, 2015 – An episode entirely dedicated to the Castellana Caves, the one aired on Tuesday, February 11, on Canale7, visible on digital channel 74 and live streaming on the web, during the column “Perché?”, hosted by journalist Gianni Tanzariello.
President Domi Ciliberti spoke for over twenty minutes about the Castellana underground site, from its history to the most recent innovations and unique features, such as being the only cave in Italy accessible to people with disabilities. He emphasized several times the unique sensory experiences offered by the Speleonight dark tour and the many high-profile cultural events organized throughout the year, which have made the caves a truly unique place of experience. He also discussed the numbers achieved this past year, with a record-breaking 250 visitors, making the Castellana Caves the most visited in Italy.
Additionally, some previews were revealed regarding partnerships with various local businesses, upcoming trade fairs, and some major events already planned for next summer.
