CASTELLANA CAVES AT THE PUTIGNANO CARNIVAL
The partnership with the Foundation, which celebrates 622 years of smiles and fun, has been renewed.
Castellana Grotte, January 23, 2016 – The Castellana Grotte Society has renewed its partnership with the Putignano Carnival Foundation for the third year, expanding its presence throughout the Carnival season. This year, the Castellana Society will participate in the event, among the oldest in the world, with various activities aimed at informing and welcoming the more than 200 people who flock from all over Italy each year to take part in one of the largest events in southern Italy.
A booth at the Carnival Info Point at the heart of the event, over 10 discount vouchers for entry to the caves distributed during the four parades, two three-by-four meter giant posters positioned at the center of the parade, advertising on a giant screen during all events, personalized booths at the photography exhibition "La Fabbrica di Cartapesta" (The Paper-Mache Factory) curated by photographer Dino Frittoli, and a full-page spread in the official magazine with the entire carnival program.
"The Putignano Carnival," commented Domi Ciliberti, president of Grotte Srl, "is not only the longest in Europe and a heritage of high cultural value, but also represents a major tourist attraction with which we immediately felt the need to collaborate. Only through constructive and effective partnerships can we boost not only individual businesses, but an entire region. Winning together: this is the overarching goal that, since taking office, I have shared with the entire Grotte Srl Board of Directors."
