Castellana Grotte, October 15, 2014 – The National Assembly of Italian Tourist Caves (AGTI) was intense and packed with initiatives, taking place from October 10 to 12 in Levigliani di Stazzema (LU), in the captivating setting of the Antro della Corchia, one of Italy's most important karst complexes, nestled in the splendid Apuan Alps Park. Grotte di Castellana Srl was a regular attendee, with executive Giulia Monaco, board member Serafino Ostuni, and Grotte's social media consultants, Maria Carmela Saracino and Marica Buquicchio, present. They led a two-hour seminar on social media promotion, drawing on the exceptional experience of the first six months of collaboration with Grotte di Castellana. "We discussed, above all, promoting the association," Giulia Monaco emphasized, "how to provide increasingly effective and persuasive visibility, engaging users in an experience that begins at home, thanks to today's rapidly expanding means of communication. We've launched a photography contest titled "Promoting Tourist Caves Through Images" to showcase the beauty of the sites we represent, which we'd like everyone to know. We're redesigning the association's website (www.grotteturistiche.it), planning our participation in Expo 2015, and planning a National Caves Day." This is challenging but exciting work, full of new insights and constructive actions to work together to promote tourism. "Participating in this assembly is always an important and enriching experience," commented Councilor Serafino Ostuni. "It's a time for growth and exchange, an opportunity to share diverse experiences, all united by the desire to do well.
