Beppe Fiorello returns with the TV miniseries “I don't give up” and gets married in
Castellana Grotte, June 11, 2015 – The Castellana Caves were transformed into Cinecittà for a day thanks to a Rai production that chose the magical world of Castellana as the setting for one of the most moving scenes in the miniseries "Io non mi arrendo," produced by "Picomedia" for Rai Fiction with the support of the Apulia Film Commission, directed by Enzo Monteleone. The series stars the celebrated Beppe Fiorello as Deputy Commissioner Roberto Mancini, a hero as well as a great Italian willing to die in the name of truth, justice, and legality.
If RAI production chose the Castellana Caves as one of the locations to film the series with Beppe Fiorello, it means that the virtuous circle we have triggered, despite myriad difficulties, is starting to bear significant fruit. You can't think of giving value to something if you don't believe in it first. For this reason, we have initiated commercial and promotional dynamics that, at first, are difficult to share, but then, as they gradually become part of everyday life, they begin to become an integral part of common thought. Suffice it to say that we have also been paid for the use and filming of our wonderful Grave cave. This demonstrates how we are perceived in the eyes of those who watch us. Imagine what we will achieve the day we all row together in the same direction. We have a natural treasure of inestimable value to be proud of and from which we will try to bring out the maximum of its attractive and receptive potential. And it doesn't end there: very soon we will be protagonists of another event of equal level”.
Twelve trucks, over fifty extras, ten cast members, and approximately sixty staff, including costume designers, makeup artists, hair stylists, technicians, set designers, and others. A large crew that brought the Castellana Caves to the forefront in a way they hadn't done in years.
