CASTELLANA CAVES CLOSES WITH THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
Iranian Shirin Ebadi is eagerly awaited and will be received by the Mayor in the Hall of Ceremonies in the Town Hall before the conference in Grave.
Castellana Grotte, June 13, 2015 – The third and final event, on June 19, will be the second edition of "Episodi," the series of cultural events organized by "Il libro Possibile" in collaboration with Grotte di Castellana Srl. Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi will be present on the evocative natural stage of the Caverna della Grave, her first visit to Puglia, for a conference on the theme "The Role of Women in Building Peace."
On the afternoon of June 19th, at 5:30 p.m., the Iranian lawyer will be received by the Mayor, Professor Franco Tricase, in the City Hall's Hall of Ceremonies, where she will receive several awards for her unwavering commitment to the fight for human rights. This will be a favorable setting for journalists to ask questions of the Nobel Prize winner.
