The Apulian underground site is increasingly social with the new promotion at San Nicola, international fairs and on-site projects including free Wi-Fi for all
Castellana Grotte, October 16, 2014 – The autumn season is now fully underway, and the Board of Directors of Grotte di Castellana Srl continues its work tirelessly with a view to comprehensive promotion. "Making caves increasingly accessible and visible," commented President Domi Ciliberti, "two major goals we are achieving and aim to consolidate and expand. To this end, we have launched a promotional project that will see us present at the San Nicola Stadium during all FC Bari 1908 home games, and any playoffs, scheduled for the 2014/2015 season. We will have six individual passes per game, three per half, along the entire LED perimeter surrounding the pitch. This strategic initiative, I strongly believe, will give us further significant visibility nationally. At the same time, we are continuing to promote all international promotions, including strengthening the already positive relationships we have established with Russia, a market that has been experiencing significant expansion in recent years and which, last year, saw a significant increase in visits. In December, we will fly to Russia to promote the Castellana Caves, meeting with the entire Moscow Edit team."
There are also new features at the Caves, which, starting next week, will be even more accessible thanks to the ability to connect to the internet for free with your mobile device. "We have opened and improved the Wi-Fi," Ciliberti emphasized, "with coverage extending from the ticket office to the entire forecourt, including the Franco Anelli Museum, to allow visitors to access our services completely free of charge. With a simple registration, users will be able to access information, curiosities, and news that will make their visit more efficient and the wait more enjoyable. Furthermore, it will be a way to share their experience in real time, while for us, it will become a way to stay in touch with those who have already visited us. In conjunction with this, we will soon launch the 'Tourist of the Day' project, a fun initiative that will engage visitors, who will be able to have fun at the end of their cave experience by capturing the moment and sharing it online. In short," Ciliberti concluded, "we want to launch the Castellana Caves into the future by making them increasingly open and social."
