CASTELLANA CAVES AT BIT 2016
Castellana Grotte, February 8, 2016 – Just a few days until the opening of the International Tourism Exchange, the international event that brings together tour operators from around the world, a large audience of visitors, travel enthusiasts, television and press. Grotte di Castellana Srl will participate in the event together with the Municipality of Castellana Grotte, sharing a stand with the Municipality of Alberobello. The stand will be decorated with beautiful and original photographs by Mimmo Guglielmi and Maria Grazia Proietto.
For over thirty years, BIT has fostered connections between decision makers, industry experts, and carefully selected and profiled buyers from various geographic regions and product sectors. "The presence of the Castellana Caves at the International Tourism Exchange," emphasized President Domi Ciliberti, "this year has a special significance. In addition to a packed agenda of meetings with national and international buyers and tour operators, images and videos depicting our karst heritage will be featured in the Puglia Region pavilion. We are particularly pleased that Pugliapromozione has also recognized our marvelous caves as a key tourist attraction in Puglia. Furthermore, this year we will once again share our exhibition stand with the Trulli of Alberobello. Given the successful experience we had last year, we will continue this winning partnership. Finally, we have prepared a new display and new merchandise to complete our promotional efforts."
In addition to the eagerly awaited press conferences to be held on Thursday, February 11th at 5:30 pm at the Circolo della Stampa in Corso Venezia 48 and on Friday, February 12th at 1:00 pm at the Puglia Region stand at the Fair, with national and international journalists, organized by journalist Carmen Mancarella, one of the new features that Grotte will bring to the prestigious fair will be the type of material that will be distributed to buyers and visitors, in addition to the inevitable calendar created by Mimmo Guglielmi: pen drives with everything related to the world of caves, from school workshops to classic guides, from Speleonight to Hell in the Cave, all accompanied by splendid and evocative images.

Hall 9 Stand C22-C24.
