Giuliano Sangiorgi sings the Stars

Inside a magical and mysterious place like the Caverna della Grave of the Castellana Caves, where time seems suspended, Giuliano Sangiorgi retraces the stages of his artistic development, performing the songs of the best Italian singer-songwriters, who, like Stelle, guided him along the path of his (and not only) musical growth, thus influencing his imagination and his poetics.

Alternating between piano and guitar, he will perform, together with Raffaele Casarano, a refined repertoire of absolute masterpieces by De André, Tenco, Endrigo, Dalla, and many others, which have now become embedded in the collective memory and sentiment of every generation, just like imposing stalagmites in the history of Italian music.

 

Christmas in the Caves is organized by Grotte di Castellana with the patronage of the Municipality of Castellana Grotte, a project carried out in collaboration with Pugliapromozione WeAreinPuglia, the Regional Tourism Agency, and the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, using FSC 2014/2020 FUNDS.
