Saturday June at 4 20: 30 le Castellana Caves (Ba) will host the FIMU, International University Music FestivalThe exhibition promoted by the Harmonia Choir returns after two years of silence and does so by choosing the evocative setting of the Grave cave as its stage.
During the evening, together with the Harmonia Choir, directed by Maestro Sergio Lella, will also perform Eolides Choir, coming from Paris, directed by M° Benjamin FauThis will be an opportunity for cultural exchange, involving two European university music institutions, performing music by Costeley, Daunais, Elgar, Faurè, Franck, Janequin, Purcell, Rossini, Sterndale Bennet, Vivaldi, and Wood. The choirs will be accompanied by pianist Angela Trentadue.
The University of Bari Choir, which comprises approximately 60 members, has been engaged in intense musical activity since 1989, aiming to engage the entire academic community as fully as possible. Harmonia's primary goal in recent years has been to promote musical practice among young people, particularly university students. Harmonia has taken decisive steps to establish a vibrant musical tradition at the University of Bari.
