The Russian Art Festival and the Magic of Bajan in the Caves
La 11th edition of the Russian Art Festival, promoted by Cesvir srl – Italian-Russian Economics and Development Center and this year dedicated to the "Summer Garden of the Arts", it will take place from May 16th to 22nd in Bari and, as always, will stop in the Castellana Caves.
Appointment the 18 May 2017, at 20.30 pm (start of descent at 20.00 pm) with the concert “The Russian Bajan”, a multi-dimensional show dedicated to the typical chromatic button accordion.

On the stage set up among the thousand-year-old karst concretions, they will perform Dmitry Khodanovich al bajan, the duo “Length” formed by Vera Selezneva to the bajan and Irina Barysheva to the classical accordion, and the soloists of the Teatro del Ballo "Events" driven by Yevgeny Malyshko.
Dmitry KhodanovicA student of composer Vladimir Bonakov, Emeritus Artist of Russia, his career has garnered numerous awards and prestigious performances, including a prize at the Grand Prix international competition in France. He has been a soloist with the Moskontsert (the Moscow State Cultural and Musical Institution) and has performed at the Rakhmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Skryabin House Museum, and in many cities in Russia and abroad.
– The duet “Length" is a world-class instrumental group. It includes professional musicians Vera Selezneva (baian) and Irina Barysheva (accordion). Vera and Irina have won numerous awards at international, national, and regional competitions. The duo's repertoire includes a wide variety of compositions: from classical to rock, from Argentine tango masterpieces to international hits, from folk music to the greatest hits of contemporary pop music.
