Saturday March 19 le Castellana Caves will celebrate the Father's Day with a double initiative: a special visit Speleofamily and a tribute to all the fathers who will visit the karst site on this occasion.
Speleofamily gives families the opportunity to explore hidden corners of the caves and relive the excitement of the first explorers, discovering their history and geology. On this special visit, guided by professional speleologists, they will set off on a helmet-lit exploration for an exciting adventure among the caves and concretions of the Castellana karst site. Meet on March 19th at 17:30 PM and depart at 18:00 PM for the tour, also suitable for children ages 4 and up.
Furthermore, on their special day, all fathers visiting the Castellana Caves will receive a souvenir photo taken inside the caves. This gift will be a treasured keepsake to cherish forever, reminding them of their experience 70 meters underground, amidst a breathtaking landscape of stalactites, stalagmites, and caves with fantastical names.
The Speleofamily tour is available for a limited number of participants and will be confirmed upon reaching the minimum number of participants. It costs €12 for adults and €6 for children aged 4 to 14. The 1km walk lasts approximately one hour. Reservations are required by email to segreteria@grottedicastellana.it or by calling 080.4998221.
In addition to the special Speleofamily, the following guided tours of the Castellana Caves are scheduled for Saturday, March 19th: a complete tour to the White Cave at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm; a partial tour at 1:00 pm; and a complete tour in English at 11:00 am. Tickets can be purchased in advance directly on the official Castellana Caves website.
