After the Ermal Meta concert, the third and last free event organized by the Castellana Grotte in Largo Porta Grande with the patronage of the Municipality of Castellana Grotte will see as protagonist, Tuesday August 16 at 21 pm, Fabio Concato with Musico Ambulante Tour.
One of the few Italian singers closely familiar with jazz, thanks to its characteristic musical harmony, Fabio Concato will offer a concert based on music and words, somewhere between the serious and the facetious, a long journey from 1977 (the year of his recording debut) to today.
The Musico Ambulante Tour will be an opportunity to hear not only his greatest hits, but also many other songs from his rich repertoire, which now spans 38 years. Since those "Storie di Sempre" (1977), audiences have immediately understood they were dealing with an elegant songwriter, capable of great self-irony, always attentive to environmental, social, and civil issues: his songs have become part of the history of Italian music and have accompanied us to this day, showing no signs of aging, but rather crystallizing emotions and verses that have entered the collective imagination.
Domenica bestiale, Fiore di Maggio, Guido piano, Rosalina, Sexi tango, O Bella bionda, and even the singles from her latest album, released in 2012, Stazione nord, and Non smetto di aspettarti will be some of the songs featured in the concert (which will also feature other welcome surprises), re-arranged and chosen according to the artist's most cherished themes. A beautiful journey to the core of the heart and mind.
The repertoire is proposed again with great energy and complicity, together with the same musicians who contributed to the creation of the album itself: Ornella D'Urbano (arrangements, piano and keyboards), Stefano Casali (bass), Larry Tomassini (guitars) and Gabriele Palazzi (drums).
The event will bring the curtain down on the stage set up in Largo Porta Grande, but the great concerts of Piazze d'Estate will continue in Piazza Garibaldi, which will become the stage for other unmissable free events.
