Speleofamily It's an experience designed for the whole family, a unique opportunity to experience the Castellana Caves in a different way, away from the traditional tourist route. Accompanied by professional speleologists, adults and children will be able to venture into a alternative and fascinating trait, exploring the underground world guided only by the light of your helmet.
The route, conceived as an exploration multisensory, stimulates curiosity and imagination, offering direct contact with nature and the most authentic dimension of the underground. Participants, young and old, will feel true explorers for a day, between darkness, silence and hidden beauties.
The activity is recommended for families with children aged 18 and over. 4 years, an age when wonder translates into learning and discovery. A special opportunity to experience an educational, exciting, and safe adventure together, deep in the heart of the earth.

EXPLORERS FOR A DAY
The experience begins in the majestic Grave, where the guides introduce the participants to the special visit, inviting them to experience the exploration with the spirit of true speleologistsAn active and sensitive approach is encouraged, which encourages involve all the senses, abandoning the visual habit to listen, perceive, imagine.
The journey continues in the dark, in the suggestive Wolf's Cave, where the water droplets filtering from the vault appear like a silent silver rain. Illuminated by small LEDs, these micro-wonders They glow in the dark, offering a delicate and hypnotic spectacle, visible only thanks to this particular visiting method.
You then reach the Cave of Monuments, where all the lights are turned off and the journey continues with thesole light source of acetylene lamps used by guides. It's an immersive experience, designed to evoke the atmosphere of the first explorations in 1938 and offer an authentic sense of the cave's darkness and mystery.
The route is finally enriched with a deviation from the tourist route which leads to Cave of Coral Concretions, a small branch of rare beauty, characterized by complex and delicate limestone formations. An exciting discovery that reveals the richness and wonder of the underground world, even in its most hidden corners.
