Hell in the Cave It is an immersive and captivating show, that combines dance, voices, sounds and lights in the natural setting of the Castellana Caves.
Set up in the suggestive Grave Cave, the largest visitable underground space of the karst complex, the show transforms the cave into a real underground theater, involving the audience into a deeply immersive sensory experience.
Through an impressive multimedia direction, curated by Enrico Romita, and innovative theatrical dynamics, the spectator is guided into a visionary and powerful adventure: a descent into the realm of Dante's Inferno, between damned souls, deep sounds and choreographies that blend with the living rock.
Hell in the Cave It's much more than a theatrical event. It's an emotional and visual journey that embraces the entire natural environment, uniquely showcasing the caves and transforming them into one of Italy's most extraordinary stages.

THE SHOW IN THE GRAVE
In Hell in the Cave the structure of Hell is not respected, all nine circles are represented simultaneously. The Damned who speak encounter one another in various places.
Lo The performance is itinerant and takes place in the Grave, the first and largest cave in the underground system and the only space naturally connected to the outside (100 metres long, 50 metres wide, 60 metres deep).
The characters chosen are some of the best known, highlighting the incredible contemporary relevance they embody: there is love, betrayal, envy, the lust for money, lust, transgressive heroism; the bonds that unite fathers to sons, pupils to teachers, the ‘ministers’ (or protonotaries, as they were called at the time) to the institutions are revealed.
On stage, for each performance, actors, performers and dancers give to the public an interpretation exciting, while the evocative power of Dante's verses blends with a unique natural setting. The canticles chosen are among the most famous, featuring characters such as Lucifer, Minos, Pier delle Vigne, Ciacco, Paolo and Francesca, Count Ugolino, Brunetto Latini, Ulysses and Beatrice.
