Alice in the Caves of Wonders

Alice in the Caves of Wonders debuts, a new immersive and interactive experience that transforms the Castellana Caves into a magical and unforgettable setting.

It is not a show in the Caves, but of a show for the Caves: an event designed to tell, respect, and celebrate the Karst heritage.

You will be the one to play Alice! Following the White Rabbit along the short tourist route, you will pass through an underground world full of crazy and surprising characters.
The ending? You will write it together, audience and actors, over a delightful cup of tea and biscuits, reflecting on themes such as water and karst phenomena.

 Loosely based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Underland, the show combines theatre and education for a one-of-a-kind experience, thanks to the staging by the Compagnia Teatro dei Leggeri, organised by Aps SottoSopra, directed and adapted by Dino Parrotta, with scientific consultancy by Sergio Carpinelli.
