"Promoting cultural heritage: the challenge of combining sustainability, innovation, and territoriality." This will be the focus of the meeting Saturday 11 December at 17.30 in the cave of the Grave delle Grotte di Castellana (Ba), an opportunity for meeting and discussion between the world of universities, scientific research and the cultural sector, desired by the Castellana Caves in collaboration with the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto – MArTA, and the support of theUniversity of the Studi of Bari “Aldo Moro” and Polytechnic of Bari.
The event will also mark the launch of a strategic partnership between the Castellana Caves and the MArTA and will be an opportunity to present the terms of the collaboration between two important tourist attractions in Puglia. Thanks to the presentations of distinguished speakers, attention will also be paid to the theme of heritage valorization, following the three guiding principles of sustainability, innovation, and territoriality, so that the enlightened management of a cultural or landscape asset can foster the social, cultural, and economic development of a region.

Ubaldo Pagano, Member of the Budget Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Castellana Caves Victor CasulliSpeakers at the event will be the Director of MArTA Eva Degl'Innocenti, Prof. Giuliano Volpe of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” and President Emeritus of the Superior Council of Cultural and Landscape Heritage of the MiBACT, the Prof. Stefano Dell'Atti of the University of Foggia and the Prof. Stefano Miani of the University of Udine. The speaker will introduce and moderate the Prof. Vincenzo Pacelli of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”.
