Victor Casulli, Chairman of the Castellana Caves srl, the company that manages the Apulian karst complex of the same name, among the most visited paid tourist sites in Italy, is the new vice president of AGTI – Italian Tourist Caves Association.
Last weekend, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its founding, the board of directors and the annual assembly of the association were held, which brings together under a single representation 26 Italian tourist caves located in 12 different regions.
The entire representation of Italian speleological tourism (capable of welcoming over a million visitors in a year, 320 thousand to the Castellana caves) met in Levigliani di Stazzema (Lu), hosted by Corchia Park – Corchia CaveThe Castellana Caves were represented not only by President Casulli but also by Vice President Francesco Manghisi.
For the occasion, the AGTI governing bodies have been renewed: Francescantonio D'Orilia (Pertosa-Auletta Caves) has been confirmed as president, while Victor Casulli (Castellana Caves) will be vice president. The board of directors also includes Riccardo Strano (Frasassi Caves), Corrado Greco (Cave of the Towers of Slivia), Fiorenzo Panizza (Toirano Caves), Mario Verole Bozzello (Cave of the Wind), and Emiliano Babboni (Corchia Cave).
