Friday 1 March, starting from 9,30 hours, Castellana Grotte and the Castellana Caves (Ba) they will be a stop on the tourist itinerary prepared as part of the project I-Archeo.S, an initiative that sees, side by side, two regional agencies for tourism and cultural development, Pugliese Public Theater e Puglia Promotion, and four regional excellences such as the Putignano Carnival Foundation, the Pino Pascali Museum, the Possible Book Festival and Castellana Caves srl, entities that have worked together in synergy to strengthen the system of creative and cultural enterprises in Puglia.
Sixty public and private tourism and cultural operators involved, fourteen months of work, a pilot action, four-day experiential tour for forty guests from all over the world. These are just some of the project's numbers. I-Archeo.S The project has brought together the tourism potential of the selected area and, thanks to strong synergy between sector stakeholders, has created an "Integrated System of Services for Natural and Cultural Heritage" for the development of tourism in Puglia. The effectiveness of this system and the planned itinerary will be tested in the pilot "Educational Tour" scheduled from tomorrow, Thursday, February 28th, to Monday, March 4th. Locations, food and wine products, workshops, urban laboratories, trulli, ceramics, exhibitions, and the Castellana Caves have been included among the discovery stops on the tour.

For the I-Archeo.S educational tour, approximately sixty guests will arrive in Puglia, including institutional representatives, journalists, influencers, and tour operators from Italy, China, the United States, Germany, Montenegro, Croatia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Albania.
The proposed itinerary is a basic proposal, with numerous alternative activities identified for future creation based on individual desires. The proposed itinerary is the perfect blend of art, culture, food, and the performing arts. A journey to discover historic sites, through ancient crafts and theater workshops. Guests will discover the pleasure of food, combining tailor-made experiences, simultaneously nourishing body and mind, broadening their horizons, and transcending the confines of time. Along the way, travelers will not only admire the beauty of the region thanks to partnerships with local organizations, but also engage in educational activities in the performing arts. Educational experiences involving dance, theater, music, and ancient traditions are therefore included, with the aim of providing a timeless experience.
Right in Castellana Grotte (first stop Castellana Town Hall, second stage Castellana caves) guests of I-Archeo.S will be able to appreciate, inside the Grave and other caves of the karst complex, the performances of artists of Crossing Arts, a project supported by the Puglia Region which brings together Hell in the Cave, a permanent show that recreates Dante's Inferno at a depth of 70 metres, and World Dance Movement, international dance workshop scheduled for July in Castellana.
