Carmina Burana at the Castellana Caves
Just a few days to go until the most anticipated event of the summer
Castellana Caves, August 24th2013 – Thursday 29 August pm 21,30 on the stage in the Anelli square, near the Castellana Caves, the prestigious Symphony Orchestra of the “T. Schipa” Conservatory and the ARCoPu choir will perform, in one of the most famous and emblematic compositions of the twentieth century, i CARMINA BURANA di Carl Orff.
Some of the most famous pages of the German composer, characterized by an elementary and irrepressible vitalism, by strong emphasis on the percussion instruments and by a pressing rhythmic incisiveness, will be interpreted by the imposing orchestral formation and the large choir., formed by the best choristers from the entire regional territory, and directed from the Master John Pellegrini, teacher at the Tito Schipa' of Lecce.
Under the patronage of the Province of Bari and the Municipality of Castellana Grotte, the musical evening is open to the public free of charge with limited seating.

A few days most awaited summer event
Caves of Castellana, August 24th 2013 – On Thursday, August 29th at 9.30 pm, on the stage of the square Rings, near the Caves of Castellana, will perform the prestigious Symphonic Orchestra of the Conservatory "T. Schipa "and the chorus ARCoPu, in one of the best-known compositions and emblematic of the twentieth century, the Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.
Some of the most famous pages of the German composer, characterized by a primary and irrepressible vitality, strong emphasis of percussion instruments and rhythmic incisiveness urgency, will be interpreted by the impressive orchestral and the large choir, formed by the best singers from the entire region, directed by John Pellegrini, professor at 'Tito Schipa' of Lecce. Under the patronage of the Province of Bari and the City of Castellana Grotte, the musical evening is open to the public for free with limited seating.
