CASTELLANA CAVES: GOOD ATTENDANCE ON JUNE 2ND WEEKEND
Castellana Grotte, 5 June 2017 – The Castellana Caves are increasingly becoming a popular destination for holidaymakers.
Over the long weekend of the June 2nd holiday, the Castellana karst site attracted over 6 visitors, a significant increase over the previous year. These numbers are significant if we focus on the period from January to June. Since the beginning of 2017, the Castellana Caves have seen increases in both visitor numbers and revenue, with a 15% increase in takings compared to the same period last year.
The strategic planning initiated in recent years by the Board of Directors of the Grotte Company, now led by President Marica Pace, continues to bear fruit.
