In April the appointments to explore the Castellana Caves (BA) with special visits Speleonight e SpeleofamilyFour events are planned with exclusive activities organised by the speleologists of the Puglia Caves Group, which will be added to the traditional guided tours of the karst site, one of Puglia's main tourist attractions.
The appointment with Speleofamily, a multisensory tour for families and not only, which allows you to visit hidden sides of the caves and relive the excitement of the first explorers, discovering history and geology, will be Sunday 10th and Friday 15th April Departure at 18:00 PM (meeting at 17:30 PM). Also designed for children ages 4 and up, the Speleofamily tour offers an alternative route to the traditional tourist route. Led by professional speleologists, you'll explore using only the light of your helmet for an exciting adventure among the caves and concretions of the Castellana karst site.
Visit Speleonight, sensory experience underground that shows a different face of the karst site, will be available Saturday 16th and Saturday 23rd April at 19:00 PM (meeting at 18:30 PM). The outward journey takes place in the dark, with only the lights on the helmets, in an intense silence where the patter of the water drops is amplified and the concretions are revealed in unique detail. Two highlights: the desert corridor walked alone, a unique experience in the underground world, and the switching on of the lights in the White Cave, marking the illuminated return journey.
