Le Castellana Caves (Ba) will welcome the month of September 2020 with a musical event and the double performance of Hell in the Cave.
Friday, September 4th at 21:00 PM the extraordinary natural stage of the Grave cave will host the duo composed of Winstone Standard (voice) e Glauco Venier (piano), in an organized meeting from the Musical Cultural Association “Nel Gioco del Jazz” As part of the eleventh 2019/2020 "Adelante" festival, singer and lyricist Norma Winstone, an icon of British jazz, and Glauco Venier, a pianist, organist, and composer from Friuli with a remarkable musical imagination, form a duo with their own instantly recognizable language, creating a new poetics, a new idiom that unites diverse traditions and musical genres. The appointments with will continue in September Hell in the Cave, the largest underground air show in the world, a free representation of the Inferno of the Divine Comedy at 70 meters deep, which will replicate Saturday 5th and Saturday 12th (box office 8.15pm, show starts 9pm). Directed by Enrico Romita and the dramaturgy of Giusy FrallonardoHell in the Cave is a sensory show born from a fascination and a deep love for the language and works of Dante Alighieri. A show that combines dance, voices, sounds, and lights, embracing the entire natural environment of the first and largest cave in the Castellana Caves as a stage.
