The performance of the PerganEnsamble in the Caverna della Grave for the
XVI International Competition “Don Vincenzo Vitti”
Castellana Caves, December 18, 2017–The young musicians from Syracuse performed spirited and energetic in the stunning setting of the Caverna della Grave in the Castellana Grotte on December 16th, during the 16th edition of the “Don Vincenzo Vitti” International Performance and Composition Competition, organized by the “Amici della Musica” Musical Association, under the direction of Professor Grazia Salvatori, and with the patronage of the Municipality of Castellana Grotte and the Puglia Region.
"It was a pleasure to host the long-running competition organized by Professor Salvatori," commented Victor Casulli, president of Grotte di Castellana srl, "especially for the message it sends to young musicians to persevere in their goals and encourage them to challenge themselves.
