The show features a story written by a group of children from the Spinazzola Comprehensive Institute, which won the critics' prize in the creative writing competition during the first edition of the Aurora Prize.
The story tells of a journey that two brothers, Giulio – good and generous – and Michele – cunning and overbearing – undertake in the Forest of a Thousand Shadows.
The forest and its silence, the darkness, the shadows and its disturbing noises represent the most ancestral of children's fears: the fear of getting lost... the fear of abandonment.
As the story unfolds, our protagonists' journey transforms into a whirlwind of amusing situations, filled with encounters, riddles, challenges, races, tears, and unexpected events that the two brothers face together with surprising courage.
Spectators will be accompanied into the magical Forest, a journey that is a metaphor for life, and will discover that fear is within each of us and that to overcome it we must believe in ourselves.
